J.A. White Series

Character List

Jacqulyn White (Jacks)

Jacquelyn White’s five-feet-six-inch hourglass frame stood like a Beverly Hills store being renovated. Her outward appearance was the storefront, which under normal conditions would be beautiful, inviting, but intimidating to those who didn’t feel wealthy enough to enter.

“Right or wrong I had the balls to make the tough decisions.  If I was a man, you would have been patting me on the back and saying good job.”

Miles Stallone

Miles used to be like Jacks’s convenience store, always open and nearby. He was in his early thirties. He worked out, so his physical appearance was toned and muscular. His olive complexion, coal black hair, kiwi green eyes, and thick eyelashes gave him an exotic islander’s appearance. His boyish smile was charming, alluring, and ignited thoughts of passion.

“I love Jacks and I will never give up on our love.”

Peter Carlton

He had an olive complexion, coal black hair, and dark brown eyes. His polished good looks, broad shoulders, and washboard stomach drove the women in the office wild.

“I’m Jacks right hand man and she cares about me.  But I know if I mess up, she will let me go.”

Margaret White

Margaret White was an attractive and very proud woman in her mid-fifties. She felt like she had sacrificed her life with no appreciation, so she hardly ever smiled. Appearance meant everything to her, so she was never without her makeup; and her short graying hair was never out of place.

“Jacks is my daughter, but I have no love for her.”

Maxine White (Max)

Maxine was soft-spoken and a year older than Jacks. Her slender face normally seemed sad, as if she had just lost her best friend,

“Jacks is my sister, but we are like stranger sharing only the same last name.”

Winston Stone

Winston stood tall and confident. His good taste was apparent as his expensive gray-blue suit draped over him. His flawless milk chocolate complexion and chiseled good looks caught many off guard. His dark bedroom eyes, high cheekbones, small cleft in his chin, and hair so black it looked wet made him look like a movie star of yesteryear.

“I love Jacks, but she has so many problems.”

Bertha Brown

Bertha Brown was a chestnut-colored woman in her late fifties.

She was like a potbelly stove, round in the mid area with a smile that would warm your heart. Even though she was the housekeeper, she had become a mother to Jacks. She gave Jacks guidance and advice with the wisdom of her age as her reference guide.

“Jacks loves only one man, Miles.  And if she continues to ignore that fact, she will destroy a lot of innocent lives.”

Benjamin Banks (BB)

B.B., which was short for Benjamin Banks, could have been the poster boy for stereotypical gay man of America. He was a lanky, six foot-tall, dark-skinned black man in his late twenties with a happy spring in his step.

“Where’s the nearest 7-11.  I’ve got to play my numbers.”

Steven Hawkins

“She played the sex card, now she must pay for what she has done to me with her life.”

Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones was a tall, distinguished man twenty years her senior. Before becoming the mayor of Atlanta, he had been a very successful attorney. He was like a classic black Rolls-Royce, timeless and made of sturdy material.

“My ambition was greater than our love.  Or maybe I just was trying to replace my dead wife.

Mr. Newman

Mr. Newman had class, wealth, and success written all over him. Being in his mid-fifties, he had more salt than pepper in his hair. His clothes hung loosely on his lean body. His arrogance was sexy, and he used it to charm the ladies.

I can respect a woman for knowing what she wants.  I question her methods, but they are effective.”

Mr. Clark

“She wanted money.  I wanted sex.”

Cynthia

Cynthia, a model, was equally attractive. Her mocha skin was perfectly made up. She entered the room like a graceful swan. Her black calf-length dress fit her slender body like a second skin as it revealed all of her perfection.

“Everyone loves a beautiful woman”

Greyson Gilmore III

Greyson Gilmore III, a mocha-brown man, stood like a monument and had confidence written all over him. You could tell by his Rolex watch and tailor-made clothes that he had expensive taste. He was ruthless when it came to business but charming when it came to the ladies. His light amber eyes were like lasers that could carve tunnels down into one’s soul. His chestnut hair was cut down to his scalp, which showcased his warrior good looks.

“I’ve known a lot of women, but Jacks is one of a kind.  Maybe that’s why I fell in love with her.”
